We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong operations focus to contribute to their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based solutions, with a particular emphasis on operational excellence. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure, and best practices, backed by a successful track record in cloud implementation and management.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture and Design:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable Azure solutions aligned with operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient cloud architectures.
- Operational Excellence:
- Establish and maintain operational best practices for Azure environments.
- Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency of Azure solutions.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for streamlined operational tasks.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Implement version control and CI/CD for infrastructure changes.
- Security and Compliance:
- Work closely with security teams to ensure Azure environments comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and manage security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Implement effective monitoring solutions for Azure resources and applications.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans for the rapid resolution of issues.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to drive consensus on architectural decisions.
- Document design choices, operational procedures, and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specializing in Microsoft Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, networking, security, and infrastructure.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are a plus
- 3 days onsite: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
